It would be great if we started to regularly sign players of significant potential from South America. For years the likes of Milan, Barca, Real Madrid even the likes of PSV and Bayern have been doing it and reaping the rewards.

Yeah but I bet you a pound to a bucket of ****e that the xfers of these players have been as dodgy as hell Niall.

Moratti determined to bring Pato to Inter Milan
          tribalfooball.com - May 17, 2007

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is determined to bring Brazilian sensation Alexandre Pato to Italy this summer.

Tuttosport says Moratti is ready to dump Adriano and bring in the Internacional de Porto Alegre teenager, whose current contract carries a £15 million buyout clause.

City rivals AC Milan are also interested in Pato, though South American scout Leonardo indicated last week that he believed the 17 year-old wasn't ready to make the move to Europe.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Do you mean Alex Rodriguez, in the MLB?

If so that $250m isn't a transfer fee, it's his contract value

Imagine, that'd be like paying £130m for Ronaldinho or something
