We were better than Arsenal the previous season too. No progress has been made in the league, in fact saldy we've gone backwards. That said the squad itself is better and I do think given a good summer we can challenge next season.

No praise is deserved really about the team in the leauge this year. Untill we win it we wont be good enough in the prem. In europe however, we are starting to become a major force due to our style of play.

If we win the champions leauge however it will be considered a sucessful season.

Away from home we are complete gash. I think we've lost 9 away from home this year. Not good enough.

Last season 3rd and an fa cup, this season 3rd and a europena cup final. Id say we have moved forward.

And before you ention the points tsally, well that makes no odds, teams have been relegated with 40+ points but gone down, today people went down with 38. Do you think the teams that went down with 40 points will see themselves as better? **** no. It dont matter how many points you get, its were you finish. We finished 3rd and are in the CL final. Thats a better not a step backwards on last season in my book.

I'm talking in the league though - last season we manged to sustain form (both home and away) that was good enough to win a title, for a very long time. We didn't match that at all this season, our form was much patchier, and we've been consistantly poor away from home.
