    **** 'em all.

I have to laugh at these Mancs I'm surrounded by. Forever dropping in little digs about us being lucky, and arrogantly dismissing Istanbul as "a fluke". Did they only watch the last two minutes of their final in 99? The ****ing NERVE of these c*nts to call us lucky...
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We were lucky that PSV didn't beat Milan, as they deserved to. I believe they would have beaten us, as their squad was better organised and more skilful than the inherited squad the Rafa had somehow knocked into shape. And most importantly, they'd have been the underdogs which was the only way we could play at the time.

I posted the post below in another thread about the same subject and I still stand by it

          Lucky to ****in' win?!?!?!??! WTF?!?!?!

We were 3-0 down at half time FFS!!!! How is coming back from that and then having the balls to win a penalty shoot out lucky FFS????

It was sheer heart, team work and determination is what it was.

Tell yer mate to go and chew his own balls off cos he's obviously a ****in jealous manc or bitter chav

Lucky to win my arse!! :whatever:

agree Paul, you create your own luck, and we created ours that night, Milan bottled in the process.
Add to that, we had the best fans in the competition that season by far, same as this season. With support like that, the team will never be short of inspiration.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

We conceded a goal in under a minute (nothing to do with tactics that)

We lost 1 player to injury after 15 minutes, another at half-time.

We had a stonewall penalty denied.

We were battered by Milan, and what did they have to show for it? A 3-0 lead, that's what, a more than fair reflection of their dominance. If we had been 1-0 down at half-time, that would have been lucky.

So we scored all our goals in a 6-minute spell? How close together were their 2nd and 3rd?

They took their eye off the ball? So we're lucky because they played badly in the 2nd half, but we're also lucky - because we played badly in the first half?

Don't ever, ever take any crap on this. NOT LUCKY.

Milan are definitely gonna underestimate us again. I think we'll go in at half-time ahead this time and then close the game out, maybe hit them on the break. Fergie can shove that bottle of wine up his jacksy, cos there's only gonna be one winner

                      ****in' spot on

I reckon we'll have the phsycological edge aswell. Think about it, even if they went 2-0 up, where most teams would think 'right we've got this won lets shut up shop' they will always have that niggle in the back of their minds that LFC NEVER EVER give up and that will make them jittery IMO. As Stevie G said "Teams fear us cos we never know when we're beaten"

Also Mascher will be biting at Kaka's heels all night which will hopefully neutralise him. As for gattuso doing the same to SG, well my response to that is simply -------->

Yeah, but that was their tactic in 2005 and look what happened there.

How many times do we have to be underestimated? I'm sorry, but any side that has knocked out the two favourites, and then reached their second final in three years? It's folly to expect to **** all over them.

It's a pointless angle to take in any arguement.

We won, and that's all that matters.
                              That says it all.

                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Yes. That's one raffle I really regret buying a ticket for.

No need. No need at all.
