Momo will never be good enough to play in any role further forward than a holding midfielder in the long term. If he sorted his passing out a bit I think he could become a pretty mean holding midfielder, but there's just no way he'll ever be a first choice player in a role further forward than that. I just can't see it. I love the guy and he can be a brilliant destroyer when needed but I'm afraid the harsh reality is that whilst he's a tremendous athlete, he's one of the least technically gifted players in our squad. He'll be here next season, as he should be, but can't see him being a regular.

Juventus have turned their attention to signing Mohamed Sissoko of Liverpool after missing out on Torsten Frings.
The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their midfield ahead of next season’s likely Serie A campaign and are monitoring the Mali international after Frings extended his contract at Werder Bremen last week.
The 22-year-old, who boss Didier Deschamps asked for last November, is considered by many as the new Patrick Vieira – a player Juve lost to Inter after Calciopoli.
Reports in Italy on Tuesday claim that Sissoko is valued at just under £6m, a fee the Old Lady are willing to pay to net the youngster.
Sissoko, who was born in France, is highly rated by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez but does face stiff competition for a starting shirt at Anfield.
The Champions League finalists already have Javier Mascherano, Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard in their squad and they have agreed to sign Brazil U-20 captain Lucas Pezzini in July.
Sissoko, who represented Les Bleus at Under-21 level before opting to play for the country of his parents, joined Liverpool in 2005 from Valencia.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I don't see what Sissoko offers us that Mascherano can't to be perfectly honest. Yeah, we all like Sissoko as he gets stuck in and the like, but as has already been mentioned, his shortcomings are too many. If Gerrard's to move back inside, we've signed this new bloke, and we have Alonso, the only reason I see for us to NOT sell Sissoko is if the Macherano deal isn't going to go through. Which I would be gutted to see; he's been fantastic, a real credit to Rafa for bringing him in when some people, cough RedChilli cough didn't think he was good enough.
Sissoko is a very likeable player, but we have two (for definite) world class central midfielders, one of the most up and coming talents (if reports are to be believed...) and then the Mascher question. Sign him up and there's really no need for Sissoko.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Does anyone else think Momo isn't actually a midfielder at all?.

And some say he's not even a footballer..
