19 goals last season playing for a gaffa who so obviously hated his guts. He certainly gets the rough end of the dildo from the LFC fans. I'm not saying that he's "all that" but at least give him the common courtesy of a reach around.

AND, after coming back from a 2ND horrific injury.Originally posted by friedk View Post7 league goals in 14 games and more in cups, he's done ok for them.
He will always score goals in the French league.
It takes time to get back to top form after injuries like that.
I rekon if Djibs stays at OM, and has an injury free season, he'll be top scorer in France next year!

Honestly?
I wouldn't mind getting him back for a crack at round 2.
If there was some sort of guarantee he wouldn't break another leg?? Dunno if that was bad luck or if maybe he has some sort of Vitamin D, calcium, phosphorus deficiency etc... (medical condition).
He's fast, young, athletic, eager to please and looks like he is regaining some sort of form at the present. It could be worse. If no team wanted him now, then I couldn't see any harm in bringing him back for another season. He might surprise us. Its not like we need the money. We can still buy another striker (or 2). Surely he can focus more in training on shooting, passing, placement of the ball, reading of the game. He's gotta have at least an average IQ.
And might I add...............He's better than Bellamy. :bird:Me Scuzi!

Man City, Newcastle move for Liverpool striker Cisse
tribalfooball.com - May 17, 2007
Manchester City and Newcastle United are being linked with Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse.
Cisse's agent has revealed that City have been in contact with the Liverpool striker about a possible move to the club, although the Frenchman is believed to favour a move to Newcastle United.
Cisse, who is on loan at Marseilles until the end of the season, has been told that he has no future at Anfield.
"Newcastle would be perfect for him," Ranko Stojic, Cisse's agent, said.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
