    Would you...

    ...have a bet on Milan for the CL Final? I am atrocious at picking winners and have only had two out of my last 30-odd bets at different point to points and Aintree, Belle View dogs and Chester last week.

    I can get 7-5 on Milan to win over 90 minutes at Paddy Power so I reckon if I put (say) £500 on Milan to win that would at least pay for my most of my trip to Athens and (only slightly) soften the blow if we lose. Obviously, however, I desperately want Liverpool to win but I'd definitely be prepared to lose £500 for us to get Number 6!

    The only problem is a moral issue of backing against my team. I've never done it before and don't want to tempt fate but...

    ...what do you reckon? Would you back against us? If so, how much would you be prepared to lose if we win? Can you get better odds than Paddy Power?

    By the way, this IS an LFC related thread so mods please don't move it to the Gambling forum!

    I wouldnt stick £500 on either result mate.

    I think it's too close to call.

      I'd put £500 on Milan to win at those odds to ease the pain ever so slightly if we lost.

          Exactly. It wouldnt surprise me if 90 mins doesnt separate the sides. Then if Milan win in ET, not only will it hurt that we've lost, but you'll also be down £500.

                I wouldn't bet on Liverpool's opponents no matter what. For any reason. Ever. No matter who they were. Or when the game was. Even if we brought back Traore.

                    My mate had a tenner on Liverpool at 34/1

                      I bet £1700 on Milan including extra time and penalties. I got 1.70(Unibet).

                      I already have a £100 on us to win at 30-1(£100), so I will either win £1200 net if we win it or £1090 net if Milan wins it.
                      Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                      According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                            I've got £50 at 26/1 to win (Considering our exchange rate is 14/1 - That's a Huge Bet for me) I will not lay off one cent of this bet

                            The Bet has been covered though I got 9/2 for a Liverpool/Milan Final after QF
