After seeing him single handedly save la Real from relegation it's really sad to see that we haven't been able to get the best out of him. There he was running at defenders with pace and taking cracking long shots. Here he just doesn't have that kind of confidence. When he shoots it's like his nervous, when his rnning at defenders he seems to self concious. It's a crying shame.

Either we must loan him out to an EPL team for a season or cash in on him. If letting him go opens up a place in the squad for someone like Puerta(I know i've been banging on about him, and there's been no rumours but i'd love to sign him)then i'd be willing to let him go, especially with Leto coming in too. But he has great potential and could end up being a world beater elsewhere. I guess thats a risk we'll have to take, but prefrably for me we loan him to a team like Spurs for a season and see how he gets on.

Ideally buy a new left winger too, so then we can decide at the end of next season if we want to renew Kewells contract or have Gonzalez back, or neither of the two.

Would like for him to be given another season but perhaps a loan deal for him to get some experience elsewhere may not be a bad idea. Credit to Rafa for being decisive in dropping his signings when they are not performing.

i would keep him for one more season i think his confidence suffered early in the season and he never regained it. he has been very poor but i do believe he has some talent and maybe next year we will see a new player!
