Most improved player since Rafa has come to Liverpool?

I would say Carra no doubt, he has improved in every department.

He was a stop gap kind of player that would fill in, in any position, but since Rafa came to the club he has improved 100% and made that centre back position his own.

He is more confident on the ball likes to play it around from the back. Defending is excellent judges tackles well, his positional sense is excellent rarely caught out.

Is it down to Rafa and the coaches?

Carra, he's developed into one of the finest centre backs in the game at this moment in time.

Finnan is also a good shout, very under rated player but IMO, the best right back in the prem by a country mile.

i think carra changed more under Ged than Rafa

Gerrard is the one, before Rafa came, he was just one of the better players, after Rafa, he took center stage and became the main man.

I'd been calling to move Carra to CB for some time, but even so it worried me Old Puffy Cheeks was sold.

it' actually a tougie as Finnan and Carra apart, most of the team now are ones he has brought in.

Out of the ones brought in by Rafa, I'd say Xabi, Agger, Reina and Crouch have really improved. Momo and JP have their moments but perhaps lack consistency.

Agree, but where he has impoved most is in his game intelligence and tactics. The defense is a shambles when he's not playing, no-one else can organize the back line like him.

He and Reina are why we have the best defense in the league.
