I have collected a lot of the valuable tickets and programmes. Once saw the ticket for the 2005 CL final go for £120.
Just as an aside if you had bought every CL game in the run this season and not used them, then got your Final ticket on the credits and then sold the unused tickets except obviously the final ticket you'd be in credit. Don't believe me? Well the Gala away unuseds are going for between £30-£55 (yes thats for a ticket that cost £6).Last edited by Guest; 19-05-07, 09:06 PM.

I keep them all, got about 3 seasons' worth now, since i've been going regularly. I always count them and then try and beat that total the following seasonOriginally posted by kurtangle01 View Post
They're souvenirs and each one brings back it's own memories.

They hold a lot of value if it's a winning run. The aways for the 2005 CL are very valuable. The Deportivo one is worth £50-£60. The whole run including the final would easily sell for £200. Just watch the prices if we win in Athens.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View Post

The final ticket in good condition is about £30. I saw the final ticket and seat cover go for £55. The early round programmes in good nick are worth £10-£15. I say You'd get £100-£120. Not the best time to sell now though. Look to sell just as the new CL season starts. Reminds people of what they haven't got.

I keep sets of all the tickets plus programmes. However, I also get them from my folks who go as well. These are then sold to the mugs willing to pay silly money on ebay. I paid for Istanbul by selling stuff like this. If any of you went to Istanbul - you'll have the seen the little stubs ripped off the main ticket thrown on the floor. I scooped up a couple of pocketsfull and sold them via ebay. The first went for £14. The average price was £8. It was the equivalent of picking up a bundle of tenners off the floors.
If you are going to Athens and can be arsed - get hold of any freebies given out - like the Carlsberg hats, local newspaper on day of game and morning after - stuff like that. Keep a set for yourself and sell the rest. It will pay for your ticket at least.
