It just gave me a chill down my spine watching it & getting nervous about wednesday now

Just watched Istanbul again.

Cor, tears in my eyes or what. There are a few separate moments in that programme that totally ruined me.

• Gray (who I can't stand) when he shouts "PENALTY! PENALTY" as Gerrard goes down.
  
• The long focus on Xabi's face as he prepares to take the kick. And the kick itself....dear God.
  
• Carra roaring in agony with cramp in ET.
  
• Dudek's miracle save.
  
• The shootout.
  
• Various shots of the fans; especially the auld fella after Smicer's goal with his hands on his head and a disbelieving smile on his face.
  
• Carra unable to talk afterwards.
  
• Gerrard's passionate interview with Geoff Shreeves.
  
• Rafa's interview when he says: "I say to them at half-time 'if we score it will be different' - and we scored and it was different"
  
• And that bloody Sean Connery 'In My Life' montage.

Awe-inspiringly magnificent. I'm so happy. ROLL ON WEDNESDAY!!!

I watched the game five or six times that Summer (second half onwards of course!). I doubt we'll ever see anything like that again.

Things that stand out...

- the YNWA montage pre-match on Sky (the one that ends with Rafa/Stevie)
- the image of Stevie in the tunnel with the players behind
- Jamie nodding his head with the Champions League music came on!!
- Stevie/Jamie dejected at the centre circle
- Stevie trying to rally the players and crowd after he scored
- Smicer's face after he scored (that's the big one for me - it's when I began to believe again)
- Djimi clearing off the line and slapping the post and Carra pointing the finger at Dudek and shouting "Come On"!
- Carra looking like he'd done his groin and then shouting "cramp" up at the physio!
- Stevie's tackle on Serghino in ET (look at his face afterwards - you can see the desperation to win)
- The "Hand of Dudek"
- The shot of Stevie afterwards with his fingers on his lips, struggling to believe it.

I could write a book on it TBH.
