While i was one of the few who called for Agger to start over him before the season started, it was not out of disrespect. It was purely about Aggers talent, and that we had to give him games. We had to face the facts that we had a very good CB talent, and that Big Sami was getting on a bit. The time came for a change. But when he has played this season he has still shown his class.

I really don't want to see him play for another team, I love Sami, what a player and a signing he has been. It'd be weird to see him play for a different club, but if him leaving means we get a quality player like Milito (who would push Agger for a place and be able to stand in perfectly for Carragher when needed) I guess no player is more important than the team and I guess he'd have to go. If he wants to play, I'm sure many Premiership teams will give him that opportunity.Comment

There aren't many clubs in the Premiership were Sami wouldn't be first choice; however I'd like him to stay.
