    Athens 2007 - The Aust/NZ Build Up.

Alright lads - three days to go, the nerves are starting to kick in, your not really that interested in what goes on at work/Uni etc, relationships are put firmly to the back shelf and the weighing up of viewing options the priority.

What are your plans, where are you watching, beer or coffee, girlfriends optional, which city which town, sbs or espn - lets hear the lowdown .

Mate of mine might be opening up his pub, big screen, a few local scousers and all that. Otherwise at home, with a mate and the other half away on work . Beer or coffee .
    Mental note to self:

I'll probably be watching it at home by myself unless my mate changes his mind and then we might head to cheers bar. If i'm home I will be watching on SBS for sure because they'll have it widescreen and also Martin Tyler is commentating.

I'm also thinking of going back to my parents to watch it because that's where I was in 2005 watching it with my dad and my sister.

I hate the night before big matches I never sleep well, it's all I'm thinking about at the moment!

As things stand, I shall be waking up at 4am and watching at home....since I do not know of many reds here in the eastern suburbs of Sydney!

However....and this is a big however....I may have to travel to either Europe or the USA for work this week, and there is a distinct possibility that I'd have to leave here on Wednesday night....meaning i miss the game altogether... I am so dreading this!

Bruce, you know how much I'd hate missing any LFC game, especially one like this...at this moment I wish I still lived in the UK!

Well when I decided to come live here in Ozz, i was approached by a US based firm that develops Business Intelligence software to head up the Aust/NZ operations, but which would require me to travel all over to consult. It's awesome software, and we are currently pushing our SAP Business One integration tool, but the Ozz market is incredibly difficult, and I'm having a few problems cracking the market.

You don't use Business One do you

Im in Adelaide. Im alot calmer than i was for the Chelski game surprisingly. Also thrown into the mix is the fact that the Uni semester is coming to an end....and ive got 3 major assignments due in the next 2 weeks. 2 by this friday

Most probably head in to the Rosemount to watch it with my bro and a couple of mates. Should be a fair few in there. Hopefully more of us than the wogs. If we win we will probably head down to Rundle St, to rev up the wogs as they have there morning espresso (and before anyone says im being racist....im not, im a wog myself, so its my right to call other wogs...wogs )

Anyone else watching the game in Adelaide? LFCman? you guys used to get together quite often didnt you?

Cheers Bar is in George St near the cinema's etc, we will be getting there around 10pm as iif you get there too much later you cannot get in. In 2005 the joint was pumping and they could not get anyone else in, the bouncers were ****s and would refuse entry to whoever they felt like.

I would reccommend making the trip to the city ! In 2005 when we won people spilled out of the bar and stopped traffic in George St for a while as they all went nuts !
