Hola amigos!!! Another day of trying for tickets spent for you lot...
First of all, the scene here is friendly, fun, and a great atmosphere. As far as we have seen, absolutely no problems or assholes ruining it yet. Even the AC Milan fans (that you can find that is. It's at least 20-1 LFC) aren't getting much issues, and when you pass them on the street it's more of a nod and a handshake asking where you've all travelled from. good to see.
Ok, now feck off, I'm putting this up so it makes it easier to meet up. No comments needed or wanted you fcukers! :bird:

That pic was taken at Syntagma Square and Syntagma Square is DEFINITELY the meeting place. It's where everyone has been meeting, and they have a lot of sponsor shops set up. Last night started with Kym and I meeting some couple and their daughter that were scouse originally but have come over from Shanghai for the match. They were about 50 and the daughter 25, and believe me when I say they were more hardcore than almost anyone else we'd seen. We all got interviewed by ESPN, and then started singing, and all of a sudden there were 30-40 of us all in full voice with camera crews, locals with cams, and a lot of others watching. Good solid times.
We were in a taxi yesterday and stopped at a light when out of nowhere, a policeman walked up to the cab and reached thru my window and grabbed me by my LFC jersey and said "I HATE AC MILAN!! I want you to win!!" I gotta tell you, that scared the **** outta me until I heard what he said. Next stop.... new underwear.
Remarkably, that is the general consensus over here by the locals. No one wants Milan to win, and people that pass you will do a HORRID version of YNWA, (usually just singing those 4 words over and over in a beat that would make MC Hammer look like a musical genius) but it just makes you feel good to know they're on your side. Much better than the alternative.
On the 18th, we met up with a group from Singapore and took overa small little cafe close to Syntagma shuare that had a tv so we could watch the ever exciting battle for 3rd and 4th place. AKA the FA Cup Final. When we walked in, the one lone lad wearing a Chelsea kit that thought he had a quiet place off the beaten path to watch the match without getting ridden too hard, just dropped his head in absolute shame. He got his back up for a bit until he realized we were all just good fun and we had a good time. his mate that he came with was a Red, so it made it all the better. He was even good about it and bought us champagne after they won. Here's one of the lads from Singapore holding a banner up to him..

Ok, now for the update that most of you want to know about, but don't want to hear...
Tickets are very very tough to find. 75% of the people here do not have them and are looking for them. One person got caught and arrested for selling them at 9000 each. Yes, 9000 Euros. (The ****ty thing is, there are 5 tickets gone to the police to use now as "evidence") What a friggin joke. We have been approached by a few people, and they are usually in the 2000 range. I can't get anyone down to under 1750, as they know the supply and demand of it all and know that there are so many people here without tickets.
I've heard reports of people who haven't been here saying that they are going for 2-300E, but damned if I could find them. If I could I would buy them immediately for you all. If you get a chance to get tickets for under 1000 before you leave, then take them. We are meeting up with the Athens LFC supporters later today, but even they said they don't have tickets or access to any. I already asked.
The only ones i have seen for 400E have been fakes. they were good fakes mind you, but since I have my own tickets, I knew what to look for. the hologram wasn't right in most of them, and the one guy that I saw that was selling them even had 2 different types of pictures where the holigram was supposed to be. Not the brightest tout I've seen.
That's it for now all. Any questions or issues, give me a shout.
See you here, and make sure you bring your singing voice.
