I really do hope the child is fine, but I doubt the ability of the parents to look after her if they leave her in a ****ing hotel room so they can go out

AA's comments were idiotic.
The day we can't feel for a family and a little child in an incident like this is the day we all go to hell.
Yes, there are kids that go missing all the time but this is the most high profile one we have heard about in a long time. It's good to se people showing support when it happens.
I am sure they would show the same support to any other kids if it was highly publicised.

i think the worst youcan say is that they were complacent , anything else is a little cruel at this moment when you consider the hurt they must be fealing every second of every day.Originally posted by disco View PostI really do hope the child is fine, but I doubt the ability of the parents to look after her if they leave her in a ****ing hotel room so they can go out

Fair pointOriginally posted by mancdetester View Posti think the worst youcan say is that they were complacent , anything else is a little cruel at this moment when you consider the hurt they must be fealing every second of every day.

I think it annoys me (in general) when parents put their own pleasure/enjoyment ahead of their child's well-being, but of course 'rubbing it in' would be cruel.
Hopefully it will make people think a bit more in future.

Well said mate
I would say AA has no kids and doesnt really relate to this issue. If he had kids, I dont think he would make these comments.
Anyways, hopefully they find the little girl safe and well.

i totally agree im the worlds worst ( or best) for worrying for my young children and i do get some stick about it , but rather that than the unthinkable.Originally posted by disco View PostFair point

all i can say is it breaks my heart to think of that poor mother imagineing the worst about her little girl and being totally unable to help her. i wish them all the luck in the world.

Absolutely agree mate.Originally posted by mancdetester View PostAA didnt disagree with the minutes silence alone, he was knocking the whole idea , i mean how can you just quote "pathetic" and not expect to annoy people.i saw his point about an unequal spread of media attention i just dont think its valid as the child is innocent ,and deserves all the efforts being shown. To me its that simple.
I don't care how they are doing it either, I think it was a decent gesture by the lads to take the time out like that and do what they did to raise awareness, fair play to them. I think ther is still a chance they could find that girl, and the parents shouldnt stop trying every chanel possible to try and raise even further awareness to find her, if that was my child I would do exactly the same. I think everyone on here would too.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I totally agree also, but I don't think it means we (society) should duck the issue - as Quincy says lots of parents do the same.
