          well he has done more than talk so far. Go back two years and the SG contract debacle. This time we fly out with him and JC sorted already. Go back with us trying to pick up the top talent, Walcott and Denilson eg, and we couldn't compete. Contrast that with the Brazil U20 captain and the player voted best player in the league joining us!! Oh yes fellas its going to be a hell of a journey but stick with us...the future is most definitely red, Liverpool red

              I just hope Tommy boy gives Roffa plenty of $$$$$$$ so he can add top players to our franchise.

                Interesting quotes there, we're obviously well-advanced in terms of negotiations with a number of targets and are gonna move quickly to get them. Makes a nice change.

                I still think it's VDV though.

                    These Americans talk a good game that's for sure. But the way they signed the Brazilian youngster has filled me with confidence. Ideally at any rate I want all our players signed by the time pre-season starts...

                      Rafa has obviosly explained to the yanks that we`d have won the CL 3 times in a row if we hadn`t dithered on the Alves/Simao deals(That`s a whole new thread there)

                        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                              I'm starting to like having owners who speak to the fans, we have been so used to being the quiet club, they are obviously well trained in what to say but i dont care, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.

                                they will walk the walk, i really have a good feeling about these guys, Hicks in particular really seems to have embraced the Liverpool legend, if you have a passion for something then you will try your best, and he has passion thats for sure!
                                Our only ****ing problem is that there is a multi billionaire on the other side...plus a few multi millionaires on quite a few other sides! Thats where Rafa and the backbone of our team will prove their worth!!
