And he´s probably right, we should get closer but not enough, which is only natural though.

I'd prefer him to say that, than he expects us to win it next year. The more we play down our chances the better.

Liverpool is the team that more than any other feels the difference when they play away. The support they feel when they play at home is so huge and important that when they play away, the difference is massive. When Chelsea play in Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea players don't really feel the support of the crowd, so the difference is not massive for them.

          ....... that made me laugh

That is true matey and he was a big influence in Rafa coming to Liverpool.

Paco was born into a poor part of Spain and he used to coach kids from families who didn't have a pot to piss in. They wrote to clubs asking for kit and balls etc and only Liverpool responded and sent them over some stuff. Since then he's always held Liverpool in high regard and followed the club from Spain. He's a big influence on Rafa and when the offer came in for Rafa to go to Liverpool Paco really wanted them to do it.

The man is brilliant but I very much doubt you will ever see him being anything other than Rafa's number 2.
**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

They do make a perfect team so I would agree with you.
