    The time for Heroes

Two years ago, a gargantuan team effort won us number 5, with Stevie G and the Dude taking most of the early plaudits. Undeniably, though, everyone in the team contributed to that amazing result. Think of contributions by Smicer, Carragher, Alonso for example. Even Traore defended like a trojan at the end.

This time around, I have a feeling there might be an unlikely hero (remember Alan Kenedy). An individual, possibly unsung until now, could well write himself into the history books.

Who knows, after the stick Zenden has had recently, I would love it if he banged in the winner from 30 yards.

Perhaps Kewell will finally repay Rafa's faith in him by doing justice in a final.

Will somebody step up and become a hero to be remembered alongside the greats.

    What do you think?
    Oh I don't know.

I have a really strong feeling that for all the grief Kewell has suffered he will repay the faith that some have shown in him. On his day he can be one of the worlds best wingers and with the extended rest he has had he could be like a firecracker!

could be pennant and finnan raiding down the right side against an aging defence providing a health supply of quality crosses

Zenden could be playing for his future and could have the game of his life.

Or any of, pepe, carra, agger, riise, kewell, alonso, masher, gerrard, momo, kuyt, crouch, bellers, or GOD

I would love to see God come on in the dying minutes and score the winner.

however a winning goal from any of the LFC future ledgends will do.
Lets just get on with the job and see how it pans out at the end.

I belive that Dirk Kuyt will play himself into the annals of the liverpool legends tonight. Don't ask me why but it seems that he was made for this occassion.

zenden or possibly kewell could do a smicer. A time for hero's indeed, players that have been ridiculed rise to the occasion and have the game of their lives.

Pennant for me. As long as he tracks back I think he is a big game player if given the chance.

Are you thinking a one off "Smicer moment" or do you think a good performance would revive his LFC career?

I think it will be won by a moment of brilliance so for us to win it has to be Kewell, Gerrard or Crouch I would imagine.

I still have a sneaky suspicion it will be Zenden.

I have been one of his harshest critics, but I would be chuffed to bits if he played a blinder tonight.
                      Oh I don't know.

I think maybe Fowler, bolo and or Harry will be the ones who could make a surprise impact.

Think Kewell could be a match winner if Rafa's risks playing him likewise Pennant has steadily improved all season as could well provide the oppurtunities for a match winner tonight!
