The ref is ridiculous gave everything to them

But liverpool fans there have shown that they are gracious in defeat and our players dignified as hell.

We tried. We never stopped trying. Hats off to players for that.
Milan are classy winners, they wanted it badly. They got it. Let's not make stupid excuses like whether they deserve to be in the competition.

The fat simon cowell of a ref is a **** and he practically gave them the match, but that's not necessarily Milan's fault is it?

I for one am going to applaud our players for their efforts! Come on Liverpool, go have a nice rest, and then bring home #19 next season.

      Do not be downhearted

defeat makes you stronger the pain of defeat will drive the players to new heights

I am old enough and fortunate to have seen all our euro finals, (and all our FA cup victories come to that) and while this one might hurt a little it does not hurt anywhere near as much as it would have done 2 years ago when we had not been in a European Cup Final for 20 years ( I mean THE European Cup Final)

Yopu just know that with this team and management that there will be many more glory days and nights in the years to come

The pain of defeat will hurt for a short while...............my 13 year old son is in tears........ but it will pass

but when we challenge for the prem next season the pain of tonight will be forgotten

      Keep the Faith...............YNWA
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

for what its worth heres my take - milan were there for the taking, with decent wingers and a clinical striker AND with stevie and mascher in the middle we would have won & will win more than we lose.
zenden, pennant are not good enough no matter how much they have improved, they dont cut it...and to a lesser degree id say im largely disappointed with kuyt and xabi......for me id expect zenden, pennant, bellamy to have played their last game for the club and id not be upset if kuyt and xabi left either (keep mascher and momo)
ah well......also respect to maldini and kaka...cant help but like those 2

kuyt & pennant will stay for sure, not 100% about xabi but i think he's probably more inclined to stay

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
