Last time we won i think some players were lucky not to get the boot, this time theres no papering over the cracks, we need a quality goalscorer, a true play maker like Kaka, Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Tevez. More quality throughout generally, pace and strength at the back, better quality fullbacks and more intelligent offensive players.

Think you are over reacting. You cannot overhaul a team in one season. And sometimes it takes years to make 'improvements'.

Rafa has more clout in the marke now, and there will definitely be some big changes, but nothing drastic

Traore got another year, so did Hamman and well Dudek was one of the main reasons we got knocked out of the cups this year. The only ones he really binned were Smicer (contract was coming to an end anyway) and head down Baros

This will make us better and Milan were there for the taken tonight. They now know what the pain of losing a final is and they wont let it happen again.

Will be stronger next time, some players will go and not before time, but the players we vring in im sure will be of the top quality and not second rate

bull****, drastic changes can and should be made in the summer, i can name at least 6 players id not want to play for liverpool again, certainly if we do have a decent bit of cash to spend.
That said I do agree to an extent that losing could very well have a positive spin...bet that the lads wouldnt want to go through that feeling again.

we wouldn't miss them and that's 5 without the players like fowler and dudek we know are out. The squad can be improved, it's more than just a striker we need. Our width needs strengthening, our attack is poor and we lack creativity. Nothing personal to any of the players i've mentioned nut there are better like for like players.

bent would be an improvement on bellamy and i'm not even a fan.
tevez for kyut if you want that second striker that will also offer creativity

alves or simao is better than pennant, both we've been linked with.
as for zenden, how about rafa give me a trial? In all honesty garcia can do better than zenden in that position when fit.
