According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I had $10 on Liverpool to win at the start of the season which would have netted me about $350. I said to the wife I was thinking of putting $50 on Milan at 3-1 to soften the blow but I just couldn't do it
