Our greatest glory is not in never falling....but in rising every time we fall

We'll be back stronger after this. All the players that are worth anything to the cause will learn from this dissappointment and become even more determined ruthless players. It is just so crap that the season is over now because i reckon if liverpool even had a friendly game today, then they'd batter whoever was in their way. Arsenal went to ****e after their loss last season but i reckon liverpool will just come out next season with all an all-systems-go attitude and bulldoze their way through teams. I reckon we can win at least 2 of the 4 trophies we are going for next season and at least one of either the PL and CL. I cant ****ing wait.

Victory will taste all the more sweeter after the taste of defeat - especially this defeat - that ****** inzaghi is now claiming that he meant the 1st goal.....but thats for another day.

Gerrard for player of the year next season because i reckon he's just gonna be like a man possessed.

Watch out soon for the golden sky and listen for the sweet silver song.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I'm wallowing in self-indulgent, artistic despair - so allow me a bit of poetry won't you.

I'm not nearly as gutted as I thought I'd be. I had a grim sense of fate about this match ever since we knew we'd be playing Milan and in fairness, who can begrudge them their bit of luck after what we did to them in 2005?

Besides, we only were 1-0 down after the deflection and had ample time and possession to get back into it, but not for the first time this season the sheer poverty of our attacking options, craft, guile and sophistication were shown up in a bad light.

Two finals in three years with a poor-ish and then a slightly above average team shows that Rafa knows Europe inside out, he fairly showed up Slur Ferguson's naievete the way he shackled Milan last night. If we had fused United attacking craft on to our tactics, we'd have beaten Milan out the gate.

And therein lies the challenge. We definitely need fresh blood to inject some life into our attack but I also think we need a change of philosophy from rafa in domestic competition and I'm not sure he's willing to change.

Anyway, we walk on with our heads held high and rightly so. This summer is going to make or break Rafa's Liverpool career and legacy.
