Reading this thread makes sad reading, and would make you worry a little bit. I hope to god the Yanks dont turn out to be a mistake.

Rafas seems rather pissed off like never before in his words since the final. What does it all mean???

Ive never seen him talk about players transfer like that, the way he did this morning about Gonzo, Zenden etc.....very open from him. He normally keeps quiet

Im not sure where the story came from, but it has been written in the press that Rafa was due a pay rise had we won, which he isnt getting now.
Dont know if there is any truth in it, but he deserves a pay rise regardless and refusing to give him one now would be in bad taste.

Oh yes very much the prized asset he's a genius and one of the worlds best managers.

He wants a complete revamp of the club from head to toe alot of people at the club pricking themselves and that including Parry who is finally under pressure which might make him trying alot harder.

.....the Americans are going to pump money in im sure of it. They have to if they want to make money. Rafa has his targets planned out and if he doesnt get them or close to it he will be well in truely pissed off and rightfully so, i bet he has given his targets to Parry months ago. Parry will have to work his ass off in the summer to deliver them to Rafa.

The times where second rate players joining as our main players has to end now. We want the best, Rafa wants the best and this club deserves the best.

Hicks said in an interview that he would not get a new contract, and that in his current contract there where plenty of pay rices so Rafa should be happy for now.

I know what you mean - I was talking about Rafa being pissed off with Rick Parry going on holiday until the last week in August each pre-season and the next thing you see is Gerard Houllier's name being bandied about.
