    Uefa

I'm absolutely infuriated this morning by word from UEFA's chief tit William Gaillard.

Apparently there were all sorts of problems last night where fans with valid tickets were refused entry to the ground because the stadium was "full".

UEFA blame Liverpool fans for the ticket chaos, then state that Milan fans didn't have the same problems because they behaved differently.

Is he having a ****ing laugh.

Can anyone come up with an anti UEFA action that would REALLY hurt them without harming our own club.

I HATE these *******s. They don't give a toss about us, and many of the ingredients for a football disaster were there yesterday in my view. We just have to be grateful that the additional ingredients didn't join them.

But they made it a damn sight more likely through their utter contempt for supporters, and then blame us for it.

What can we do about it?

Gaillard is a tosser, he was the one wo said we shouldn't be in it after we won it 2005, he has something against us.

Why didn't you just post this in my thread?!

I disagree I'm afraid, assuming the reports coming out are accurate

Probably because some of our supporters caused mayhem there mate, so couldn't blame Gaillard for saying that IF these reports are true.

Let's wait and see until we see more information of what went on.

UEFA should look to themselves before slagging anyone else off. Firstly the club warned them about this. Secondly they cravenly allowed Milan back into the competition after the refereeing scandel had kicked them out.

It's ok guys, because the "UEFA Family" had plenty of tickets.

                  That's the one...

I agree with alun to an extent.

UEFA just don't seem to foresee (or care to) that allocating such a miniscule amount of tickets to a huge fanbase will cause problems and they don't seem to put that into account. There are so many larger and better suited venues...Football should be for fans and not for corporate ******s.

Exactly. How they can have the same ticket allocation as each set of fans...it beckons belief.

everyone knew we would take 40,000

everyone knew milan wouldn't even take 17,000

                        the stadium had 63,000 capacity

give us 40,000 tickets there is no problem.

but then that would be running the game for the fans.

much better to nurture a black market than do that, and then blame us when it goes tits up.

of course milan had no problems. they didn't NEED the black market.

the MAJORITY of our people flew out without tickets, including many on this forum.

Exactly. It wasn't like they didn't know about it. They chose not to react and then blame us for it going tits up. People should look to the cause and not the effect of the problems. And the cause was UEFA's ****up. And that's a FACT. And the whole world knew about it beforehand, because Parry made damn sure everyone knew. But did they choose to do anything? Did they ****, as they'd already promised their Prince and Princesses all those tickets.

Cheers alun mate I'm just saying it how it is...it's a real shame that fans who make the game and pay for the game don't get to see the team they love. There will always be enough who couldn't get to see it, but one should make damn sure as many as possible can!
