What are the chances a class action can be taken against Uefa.

People with legit tickets who didnt get in would of lost a heap of money.

Surely they cannot do anything to us though (as a club), its nothing worse than what has happened in Rome for instance.

And if worse comes to worse, we surely can take the fact that they allowed a team who had been banned from the competition back in.....and the ***** won the ****ing thing. How is that fair.

Its not! So they wont do anything...it will open up a huge can of worms if they push the issue. It will all blow over in a couple of days

Come on guys, UEFA have the responsibility to organize such events, and to be fair with them, it's bloody difficult regarding the circumstances, with all the thugs and scums going over there without tickets etc ...

Uefa ****ed up mate. Big time.

If people with legitimate tickets cannot get into the game, trouble is bound to kick off. I would be ****ing steaming if i had paid thousands to get over their, with a legitimate ticket...only to not be allowed in the stadium.

        Thats just wrong.

They fully knew 40.000 fans were going to go over there. They were simply not prepared.

You cant defend the violence...that shouldnt happen.

But Uefa have to take a look at themselves first....they simply ****ed this up.

They wont of course, they will shift the blame to us. As they have pretty much already done.

Yes, they do have the responsibility, but it's their way or the highway.
I find it amazing that when organisation is left to the clubs throughout the competition there are so few hitches and issues.

UEFA should organise the event, but should most definitely ensure that both participating teams assist.

Sadly they don't take advice from anyone, and at the end of the day all they care about are their sponsoers and cash

Deluded mate. Absolutely deluded. So all the 20odd thousand of fans who went there without tickets are all thugs and scum? LOL **** me man, which planet do you live on.

Yes you wouldn't be happy not entering the stadium with a valid ticket so what ? That's the risk going to these games and it's not solely UEFA's fault !

Why are there fans going there without the bloody ticket and willing to buy forged ones. Ask them mate, particularly that luminary revo (scouserthommy) !

                  Hang on a second here.

Are you saying that when you buy a fully legitimate ticket, you should be fully aware that you may still not get in?????

Is that what you are saying??

                  Thats ****ing ridiculous mate.

Why can't people make the pilgrimmage to where the game is being played. If i lived in Europe i would of gone. Even if i didnt have a ticket.

Why??? Because its about the atmosphere, even if your not inside the stadium you can still be part of the atmosphere before and after the game.

If you're going there for the atmosphere yes mate, I'm not disputing that. I'm disputing the fact that 40,000 fans would have gone there and some of them would have bought forged tickets and still tried to get in the stadium, which is totally irresponsible.

Judging by reports from there, even though having a legit ticket didn't mean you were allowed in the stadium, so that would be a risk still, unless you don't care about the money and think you're there for the experience that would be ok.

Ok, now you're there with a legit ticket and you can't go in, because some ****ers have gone in because of their forged ticket, yes that would pissing you off, no doubt, but what could you do ? UEFA could attempt to improve the way forged ticket are recognized, that's a fact, but they're hardly responsible for 40,000 fans, with 23,000 in excess of them trying to get in.

I think alot had to do with the volume of support there.
If Milan had the same amount of supporters that we had in Athens, Im fairly sure there would have similar problems with the Milan crowd.
I have been in the San Siro standing amongst the Ultras at a league game. I have sat in the kop. Liverpool fans are far better behaved IMO, just look at Italian football with their fans caged in.
UEFA have to look at themselves and try and earn their ****ing cash for a change and stop scratching each others backs while looking for scapegoats.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

You are right that UEFA have the responsibility to organise such events but it is due to their total lack of organisation that there were practically no ticket checks last night. My ticket is still totally intact, it was checked once at the first barrier with an ultra-violet but not everyones was checked and as soon as there was a little hold up they let people pass through that barrier. The second check was to hold your ticket in the air and the entrance to the stadium where they were supposed to remove the stub they just let us through.

Ideally only those people with valid tickets would be even trying to enter a stadium but everyone knows that anyone will try to get in if they can.

If UEFA had sorted out the ticket checks in the first place people with valid tickets would not have been locked out.

My take on it is it was firstly caused by UEFA's miserly allocation and secondly by their lack of organisation. To now come out and blame ticketless Liverpool fans is just them trying to get the blame in first ratehr than having to look at their own set up.
Don't mind me, I'm just a Lurker really

They are incompetent. So what's new?

It was nice to see that a whole bunch of seats were empty for their sponsors.

That's ****ing bang out of order. People went over without tickets because people had to book flights / hotels before they knew whether they had a ticket. This happens because travel firms in league with UEFA buy most of the flights / landing slots and hotel rooms
