in my opinion:whatever:

1. He can't pass the ball properly.
2. There are serious flaws in his game understanding.
3. His technique is weak
4. He is defensively ordinary.
5. He hoofs too much.
6. He can't cross.
7. He constantly wastes our attacks, because he needs to shoot everytime he has a half a chance, even when pass would be a better option.
8. He gives the ball away more than Sissoko.

He can run like a mad man and has a powerful shot but other than that he's avarage footballer and should be sold to Everton.

Is Riise leaving?

Alritey folks, i'm a little worse for wear but is JAR leaving the club?
It's just my mate who was at the game the other night says he spent longer than any other player with the fans at the final whistle and it looked as if he was saying goodbye to them! i for one hope he wasn't saying goodbye.
Can anyone who was at the game, shed any light on this?

We gave him a good sing and he showed his appreciation. Just gestures of mutual respect at the end of a season. I really don't think he's leaving.

If Aurelio hadn't got injured when he did I wouldn't have been that sure, after a dodgy start he really impressed my in his last few games, and has a little more class than the often agricultural Riise. Neither are ideal defensively though, and in the long term I suspect Rafa will look to replace JAR, but I also doubt it will be this summer unless a much better option comes along.

Hope so mate but my mate reckons he was defo a player that looked like he was saying goodbye, i was shocked he even thought that to be honest but then again...i don't think Riise has been offered a new contract and he only has 1 or maybe 2 years to run on his current one so god knows???
I think he's been a cracking player for us and a big favourite with the fans, i'd be gutted to see him go and i think it would be harsh on him if we did sell. very consistent player for us still.

I don't think he'll be leaving. Insua is one for the future and Aurelio should be our first choice left back next season.
