Can I say how much of a pleasure it was to meet so many EST members in Athens. I was fortunate to have a lovely meal with most of them. I can remember meeting Howard_lfc, Glove, Red_Hot, Tomasjj, KK07, RS4, loco, Desertscouser, Emmo, Maestro, Redjedi, MikeK, Redblood, Ronan, Scousertommy, Bonzai, and Nobbylad. Great bunch of people. The highlight of my trip. The game was an anticlimax.

Kev, to be perfectly honest I've read what has been said and I'm not getting into it. I wrote a long long long reply correcting many many things but just deleted it in the end. I know what went on and saw most if not all of it. To vilify you is bollocks...utter bollocks.

Yes mate. A great view as well. A perfectly legitimate ticket from Bonzai.

Was it worth it? Well I suppose you have to experience losing so that when you win the sensation is that much better. Would I go through this all again? No. My days of travelling abroad following Liverpool are over. I have the abiding memory of Istanbul to cherish and that'll be good enough for me.

I think im the same couldnt face the whole thing again, the ticket situation is only gonna get worse, and trust me if we get to Moscow the russians will not **** about with our "fans". I'm not greedy ive been to 2 European Cup finals seen us win and lose. I may just be being melancholy cos of the result but i dont think ill go again.

Sorry I couldn't meet all you folks out there, DJS and myself had a ****ing nightmare getting there to the point where we just ended up going to and from the ground. In a way it's just as well because it meant we got in early and although we could see everything was a total ****ing mess, we didn't have to experience anything like as unsavoury as it seems people ariving later did.
