Crouch out scored him last season.

So he scored 7 in 10 (haven't checked figures). He also went nealy 30 games without a goal.
How many games did Crouch go without a goal? And that wasn't moving to a new country with a league that has a hugely different style of play, and to a club which very nearly got relegated.

Tevez is a phenomenal talent. He has a brilliant combination of flair and end product, pace and power. I think he'd be an incredible signing. He'd score goals at a good rate and would give us one other key thing we sorely miss - the ability to force defenders to turn and run back towards their goal line.

Dont even try arguing this BTW.....you were so wrong about Mascherano its not even funny.
too true there gotta agree with harvey and others, Red_chilli, you shouldn;t make assumptions like that and i truely believe tevez will come good in our team, if not scoring goals, creating em for players like kuyt and free em up for more box to box positioning rather than what they are doing now (and that is why we have Rafa for, instruct players to play the game how he wants them to play with what resources he has)

Tevez is much much better than Kuyt.
