Anyone for Kevin Doyle !!!

I am a devoted Liverpool fan, but for my business hosted tickets for Reading this season.

One player that stood out was Kevin Doyle, quick ,fiesty and takes the ball really early which wrong foots the goalkeepers.

I know he is not "world class" but all world class players have to start somewhere

I'd give him another season before making a call - I know he has quality - I could see it while he was playing eircom league - knows where the goals are

Said before, say it again Kevin Doyle is the business.
No doubt we'll get the ould 'he's not good enough for liverpool' line but he is a proper goal getter and we desperately need one.
Not top of the list but one to watch.

Not really going to take us on to the next level though is he? Decent player no doubt, but I just don't see how he'd particularly improve on what we've got currently (ie Bellamy)

You've just said it yourself Marky, as we are all in agreement that Rafa needs signings from the top drawer, who ARE top of his list, or as close as possible to.

He's a good player of that there is no doubt, but he clearly is not good enough for LFC.
