sounds like it could catch on, the milan fans, despite their lack of numbers in athens, know how to support their team at home, and have a wide enough variety of songs. they would sing they whole way through a home game.

I'm afraid the mancs have been singing along to this tune for about 3 or 4 years now at least. We'll leave it to them to rip off our songs and change the words. Hope it doesn't catch on..

Well...the year the CL final was at Hampden, they were singing that "follow follow follow, cos United are goin' to Glasgoooow" :whatever: but I have noticed the c*nts singing it lately. Have they got new words for it or summat?

I must say I kind of agree.....we should leave the ripping off of songs and changing the words to those sad *******s.

Slightly off-topic, I noticed the crowd at Headingley today were singing 'Ring of Fire'. I also heard the Wolves fans singing it during one of their play-off games recently.

Fantastic video Will. It was an absolute privilege to be there that night with you fellas.

Some Greek people happened across that scene and I think they were stunned by what they saw, and some even joined in. Brilliant.

That night proved to me why Liverpool FC and its supporters are so unique - we have soul. A soul and heart and spirit, which even in defeat, is not matched by any other club.

For what it's worth, I think the chant is absolutely brilliant. I've been driving people crazy by incessantly signing it non-stop since.

People on here might be getting on their high horses about us being trend setters and that we shouldn't be copying other supporter's songs, but I have two responses to that:-

1. When we take a song and add creative lyrics, passion and fervour to it, we make it our own; it has a life on its own separate from its origins - for this see Fields of Anfield Road. Amazing song, no one complains that we ripped it off from Celtic.

2. Do not judge a song until you have sung it with several hundred other Liverpool supporters and experienced the passion and frenzy the song creates. People might sing this song back to themselves or listen to audio of a crowd singing it and think it doesn't sound great. But trust me when I say it becomes a completely different entity when you are singing it passionately with a crowd. Not only was it great song, but the passion of the people singing it completely swept me away, and I (like Tomas) was jumping up and down singing it and defy any other Liverpool fan not to do the same thing in similar circumstances. I have been a big critic of the Campione song, thinking it didnt match the PAOK original, which I still dont think it does, but the passion with which it was sung that night completely won me over.

Personally, I hope this song does take off, it's superb.
