Strange that you reckon he takes up Fowler-esque positions. I haven't watched the clip but I've seen him play a few times this season and he was anything but. He seemed to spend most of his time "between the lines" and working the channels. I had him down as a 'forward' rather than a striker.

When I have seen him he reminds me of how Garcia sometimes plays - breaking from deep but getting into a position to follow up shots / finish things in the box. I think this is the one thing that both Crouch and Kuyt have really lacked for us this season.

We lack the numbers in the boxat crucial stages of our attacking play. What I've seen of the very brief highlights of his play is that he does get in those positions regularly.
