An indication of my boredom as the wife watches ****ing Star Wars on TV, I've been trawling **** websites in a bid to find some fresh LFC info, and all I found was this:

Chelsea are planning to capture another teenager, winger Jacob Mellis from Sheffield United.

Mellis was being lined up as a future star by Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez after he shone against the Anfield youngsters in the FA Youth Cup this season.

But Chelsea have made a late move to snap up the 16-year-old before he can complete his proposed switch to Merseyside. Mellis has not signed a professional contract at Bramall Lane but Sheffield United would be due a compensation package.

I've had a look through and there was hardly any mention of him in the match write ups, he played the whole game vs us in the youth cup, and also played in the youth league match. I'm sure I remember reading something about him in the post around the time of the youth cup match tho
