    While We're At It...

I hope we sign up Mascherano as soon as possible, no matter what the price.

He's only played a handful of games for us, but he'll be one of the worlds finest footballers in a few years.

Don't we have first option or something for his contract runs out? I hope we don't wait till then, because first option really means fark all these days, we have to tie him up now.

Aye, this needs sorting as a priority too.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Plus, in the final he showed us he is a big match player.

      And those are rare.

You can't compare him to Momo.

Mascherano has done it on the world stage, he's known world wide.

Oh i know the Mash is a better player, and Momos passing lets him down. Thats what i find hard to get around is how his passing is so bad.

Not really sure who own him, i think its the company MSI (something like that)

Some people say we have an option to buy for 10million while others say we can have him for 18million,

Either price is good as he seems to be a world class player.

Seing as we have hime for another year either way I hope we concentrate on other targets for a while - unless we do a two for the price of one deal with Tevez.

We own him 100% until next summer but we can't sell him. MSI can't sell him either during that time.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If we bought him for £10m would that be for 4 years with his ownership reverting back to MSI meaning that if we wanted to extend his stay for another 4 years we would have to pay them another £10m? or would we then wn his rights totally so if and when his contract comes to an end he would be a free agent?

I understand where you are coming from but I would like to see him signed up long term so no roblems can all of a sudden hit.

We would own him 100% and would be allowed to sell him if we want to.

i don't think it's possible to overestimate masher's performance on wednesday. he was the best player on the pitch by a ****in mile and all this against a man - kaka - who had destroyed him in their 2 previous encounters, by all accounts. engine, head and guts. sign him up. as for subbing him...
