Disagree - I've seen several posters put up perfectly 'structured'/'valid' arguments on many topics and get shot down (see my Athens thread for several examples) - if people have polarised views, particularly about an emotive topic, then responding politely with their own counter-argument sometimes falls by the way-side.

To be honest, I didn't really think he knew what he was talking about. Perhaps the fact that we're on the internet means we're obsessed about football and Liverpool and arguably more 'knowledgable' about Rafa's tactics.
Alternatively, perhaps people are too scared to come out with their own opinion sometimes because they might get shot down
(which is true to an extent sometimes

i think part of the problem is that we actually can never guess what rafa's selection is going to be for a particular game. how many times have we been amazed by rafa's inclusions/omissions?
how many people thought that a newly fit zenden would start nearly every game despite the fact he's obviously rubbish after he's got the ball? (very good at being in space to receive the ball though...) is constantly giving the ball away a tactic that rafa employs consciously? if the reaction on here after the barca second leg was anything to go by then it is. we're geniuses too!!!
more generally, the posts about team formation either now or in the light of potential transfers are totally pointless (if interseting) given that we don't have a formation/first team.
also people are beginning to mention rafa's non-football pro background - is this a shortcoming when t comes to managing his players? now this can be interpreted as "show us your medals" bollox but if we want to understand our manager because we're such bright astute fans, surely this deserves some consideration...Felching ≠ Gerbilling
