UEFA has no defence against this claim and will settle out of court. And probably all similar claims.

There is no doubt that UEFA should take the majority of the blame, But we also need to realise that elements within our club must share the blame. Just like Heysl

Extra support might have made the difference. Surely grounds to get the game re-played.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

It's about time UEFA took a kicking over this debacle. It's not like they have a tournament every week to organise.

Sorry, I'm forgetting we live in the smiley age. Please consider a smiley added to original flippant comment.

They MIGHT give him his ticket money back. At most. No way they pay anything more out.

              UEFA are *****

My respect goes out to this guy(and others who choose the same path) for having the b@lls to challengw uefa etc, not only to explain in their words what went on that evening but also demanding his/ their right to compensation for what was a expensive night! (which for some, meant going into conciderable debt) only to be told that he/they couldn't get in to see the game after all due to the giant c0ckup by the officials/police at the ground that night.

That whole charade, should be explained fully to the people (who had genuine tickets) who did not get in, and offered the appropiate compensation to which i feel is extremely warrented. Good luck to this guy (and others) who choose this road to go down.

Agree. After seeing that Gaylord interview on SS News the day after the final its clear UEFA see the blame as 100% at the Liverpool's end so I can hardly see them being keen on giving refunds out.

I wouldnt be so sure about that. I dont think UEFA wants this to go to court. If they lose, which is very likely, they will be an open target for everyone with an unused ticket

Well, my ticket is still intact. So were a lot of others from what I have heard. Could be a lot of refunds given out in that case...

Yes. It seems Most people that saw the game still have intact tickets. UEFA are in trouble. Hopefully they get to pay for their Incompetence.

I just hope G&H dont reimburse these fans to make it go away
