I stand by my post mate,Rafa has made some massive **** ups.

I'd rather he stayed TBH as I think a new manager would take even more time to re-build and I'm hoping Rafa's **** up are due to the fact he hasn't got the players he wants in yet.

Every manager makes mistakes(look at Utd) but Rafa has recouped a good bit of cash on each one and shipped them out quickly eg Morientes, Gonzo,Josemi, Nunez, Kromkamp. Agree he Rafa has not got the players he really wanted which didn't help.

I know what you're saying, for sure he's made mistakes, although no way would I say they're massive **** ups, certainly compared to Houllier for example.

I'd hate to lose Rafa and then bring in someone else who will spend another 2-3 years rebuilding. Rafa has been rebuilding but got us to finals and won us trophies on the way.

Managers and players come and go....It wouldn't be the end of the world.

It's not like we would be losing the Kop or YNWA.

Surely losing a manager sets us back a couple of years while the new guy comes in and shapes the team in his image. With players like Gerrard and Carra at their peak, we cant afford that right now. Besides, who could we get in who'd do as goos a job as Rafa?

If Rafa was talking to the Echo today I assume his holiday hasn't started yet and it will be a short one if he is back by Monday.
