You've got me.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

In retrospect, it was a dead giveaway.Originally posted by Howard_lfc View PostI knew you were lying when you implied that you had some mates.

Anybody out there have one for the upper centenary as I do?
I'm back on the list so am looking forward to getting my hands on a pair at some point in the future, hopefully before I die..

I'd be prepared to be disappointed if I was you H. I'm expecting it to be about £650 this year. A couple more rises like that and I may well have to opt out after 20 yearsOriginally posted by Howard_lfc View PostI've gotta say, I'll be pretty disappointed if the St prices go up - bearing in mind the money the clubs will be getting from the new TV deal.

I know what you mean Lindsay mate. It's getting to the point where it simply becomes too expensive. Don't get me wrong - I can afford it - but it's whether I WANT to pay that much......... In the meantime Stevie will be picking up £120k per week............ It just doesn't feel right.Originally posted by PLY View PostI'd be prepared to be disappointed if I was you H. Us fans used to be the heart and soul of the beautiful game - now we're a poor second behind the corporate lot. Just wait until the tide turns though and the 'corporates' have buggered off on their next plastic adventure; the clubs will want us back then and it'll be too late. Well in my case anyway.Liverpool born and bred.

Mines gone up £40 to £650 as I expected. So much for a price freeze
