I was only using Cisse as an example of how fickle people are. In the past certain posters wouldn't give Cisse credit for his record in france, however they are happy to big up Malouda. (not referring to you)Originally posted by Pacman View PostDrogba, Essien anyone?
Doesn't Nani come from the same league the brought us Paulo Ferrrira? (sp)
I don't get it.

Steve mate, whether they spent 2m or 17m, Hargreaves is exactly what utd need. He could have made the difference for them against Milan. They have also got two good replacements for Giggs and Scholes.Originally posted by Steve101 View PostThey've been after hargreaves for nearly two years, hardly swift and decisive. And bloody hell......£17million quid!!!!!

He does have some good points but they will be even better points if we **** up in the summer like we have the past 2.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View PostNobody's moaning, I was merely saying that the guy from TLW made some good points.

yeah, but if WE had bought these two young players there would be mayhem here. And Hargreaves is not what they need IMO. Still opinions eh!! It'll all be different when Rafa hands his notice in on mondayOriginally posted by marcus50bucks View PostSteve mate, whether they spent 2m or 17m, Hargreaves is exactly what utd need. I think he makes some good points.
Lets face it, Manu won the league without having to check over their shoulder for us from December so it stands to reason that we need to make some serious purchases asap. They have a team that have won the premiership, chelsea have a team that can win it, and we're 20+ points off the pace at the moment.
The expectancy is alsways high from us and every summer we're dreaming of a couple of world class buys to take us to the next level and it hasn't happened yet. Until it does, its all justified.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I disagree. If these two had signed for us many people on here would be creaming themselves. You only have to read some of the posts when it appeared we were signing Alexandre Pato and even Aguero last yearOriginally posted by Steve101 View Postyeah, but if WE had bought these two young players there would be mayhem here.
I just think some guys are fickle. If it's utd that are buying quality youngsters we start being negative by saying the players are overrated or it's a risk as they may not settle. However when we're linked with potential world class youngsters, they can't do anything but succeed.
