What if I am away for a week? I would again have to traul through thousands of pages of gobbledy gook to find out whats been going on.
Having separate threads means you can get the gist of what is going on by glancing at the titles. If it looks interesting dive in, if not scroll on. You take away that functionality and option if you bung everything in one page.

Fiorentina have approached Liverpool to begin talks over a deal for Momo Sissoko.
