    Rick Parry/ gerard houllier

with an overwhelming dislike of rick parry and rumours of resignations etc etc who do you think would and could be a better replacement. I`d go for gerard houllier myself. i have always thought his skills were in administration and his vast wealth and knowledge of contacts across the globe, would be a major asset to any football club. i also believe there is unfinished business with his love affair of the club. discuss

Are you for real? Get your head checked fella.
Houllier? That would be a massive step in the wrong direction.

      Or is this a joke?

Foster Gillett will be in charge sooner rather then later, Rafa will just go over Parry's head till then

Ah, the ancient art of kurtangling.......
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue

Not sure about that he'd try and muscle his way in to the football side of things wouldn't he? What would he know about the otherside of football? Are you pulling my leg Revo and trying to hurt my feelings again?

I would imagine that is exactly what will happen.

Personally I can't see Houllier being up to that kind of job. I see what you say in terms of structuring the club, but marketing, budgets, helping design the new stadium and implelmenting transport links whilst liaising with the council??? Nope - I couldn't see it.

Could you see him and Rafa working together?
                  Oh I don't know.

I only wish they were brave enough to appoint Rashid or AnfieldAnfield.

In the role that Frank Arneson does, I think he might be good at that, but not with us, it would be just so wrong to have him doing that role with us, and I doubt Rafa would hang around long.

However, that side if the business needs sorting, as well as other parts of the CEOs role, whilst Parry has been excellent in some aspects of his job description, other apsects have been woefully short, and we need to change that to someone who is excellent in all areas of his responsibility, or in the word of Alan Sugar, you're fired.

AA is to depressing, he would turn the the grass black, wear black jerseys all the time, wear black arm bands all the time, have black seats, and our major sponsor will be Samaritans, while other sponsors would be Valium, prozac

The only Job Ged could do at Liverpool would be as Director of Football, but I'd rather have King Kenny in that role

Kev are you still suffering from jet lag or something GH no way, for one Rafa would never have it.
I think I agree with one of the other lads here, the Gillett lad, has I think always been destined for this position, Parry got to stay on to ease the transition and keep familiarity in the club.
I know you don't like him but I think he's done a good job for us not perfect but none the less a good job.
