    Let's be realistic

Nothing is going to happen on the transfer front till after June 17 when La Liga 2006/07 comes to an end.

The only one I can see happening is Malouda (sic) as their season has ended.

If nothing happens by end of June we can start panicking!!!
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. it is really starting to annoy me being linked with all these players but not actaully having the remotest idea who we are actually really intrested in!

It still would not happen as Real are also interested in him but they cannot buy 'cos a) Capello might be fired if they do not win the league; b) they would not want to impose a player on the new manager/Capello as that policy has been scrapped by the existing powers at the club.

Most agents will wait till all the major leagues' seasons have ended.

Why did La Liga start so late anyway? Did they just have an extended break after the World Cup.

I think Capello's going - win the league or not. Its all the political crap at Real Madrid.
            We come not to play.

All the Spanish journalist I have heard on the radio or writing online seem to think that Real are winning inspite of Capello and often inspite of playing poorly. A lot of people have said that Capello hasn't been the inspirational figure or organisational force he used to be this season - although maybe he has just suffered from a group of players who have had the power for too long. I guess if he wins the league he'll take the credite, the cheque and be happy with the way it went.

Being realistic would involve the majority of posters on here thinking rationally about transfers.
