An express coach service connecting the airport with the city centre, serving the main hotels, railway, coach and bus stations operates every 20 minutes during the day on Mondays to Saturdays, reducing to a 30 minute frequency in the evenings and on Sundays. The stops are shown in the timetable and on the coach. The driver will advise passengers of their most suitable stop, if required. Fare £2 single, children £1. Pay the driver on entry or book online (see below).

Tickets can be booked online by selecting the National Express website from our Links page. Then select "Click here for more locations" in the box on the left hand side of the first page. This will clear the default Birmingham and Birmingham entries. Enter From: "Liverpool Airport" and To: "Liverpool" or vice versa, as appropriate, and the dates of travel. Then follow the instructions.

The first service leaves the airport at 0510 (0530 on Saturday and Sunday), and is a limited stop service arriving at Norton Street Coach Station at 0548, Lime Street Station at 0555, Paradise Street Interchange at 0605 and arrives back at the airport at 0630. The last service leaves the airport at midnight, calling at Norton Street Coach Station at 0035, Lime Street Station at 0042, Paradise Street Interchange at 0052 and arrives back at the airport at 0112.

Journeys operate via the Estuary Commerce Park on Mondays to Fridays only until early evening. Further information can be obtained from Arriva Customer Services on 08701 20 10 88 or access their website from our Links page. An Arriva Travel Advisor is on duty most of the time and can be usually found outside at the bus stands or, if not, at the Arriva kiosk located near the Arrivals area inside the Terminal Building.

Norton Street Bus Depot is the nearest point to Prescot Street (short taxi or bus ride)..............but where the hell are they stopping on Prescot Street? cant think of any hotels in that area
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"
