Without sounding like a cynic - but even if we were buying Neil Lennon McPharland has to say it's 'exciting'....

I can't stand the bloke, but he loves LFC and would do a lot of work for Rafa and is probably more competent than Parry, he would also know that we have to pay the going rate for some players.
Do you honestly think GH would go for that, or that Rafa would want GH hanging around?

I didn't think of that, I am wondering though if Foster has many contacts.
        Wasnt that obvious Rashid?

Is this the same bloke that allowed the exuberant contracts signed by Cheyrou and Diao to mention but 2.

I think you could be on to something here, if he is unable to do it tho maybe if we all cross our fingers we could get Peter Ridsdale to fill in.

Maybe not a good idea then! Just a thought... I mentioned Trevor Birch yesterday, ex Chelsea, a good guy and a red.

Why does he need a work permit? What part of that job cant he do by sitting behind a desk in America until a work permit is sorted? Its not like he cant jet in and out of Liverpool or around Europe and America doing the job is it?

don't argue with me mate, I am not saying that is not a valid reason for transfers not going through. Just saying why he possibly wont be installed at Anfield on a permanent basis.

I know mate but I just wonder were people get these ideas from that come August Parry is out the door and we all know this yet no one at the club has confiirmed it or anything. I really cant see how if he was being replaced by Gillets son then he would have to wait for his work permit when I dont think he would need to wait for one to take that job over.

He won't be taking Parry's job when he gets his work permit. He is just going to relocate to Liverpool and basically be the person between Rafa (or whoever we appoint after Monday) and the owners to make sure communication is good between them and he will be there to sign the cheques

So therefore he isnt essential is he and so the talk of him not being here is the reason for any delays in transfers is bollocks?
