I'm sick of all this talk and negativity...

So the season is barely finished, most of the top players are currently on international duty and so many LFC fans and tabloids are saying that things have not moved fast enough and Benitez, Hicks and Gillet this and that.

The transfer merry go round has not yet begun in most places, and just because Manure have spent £50m odd already does not mean that we are lagging behind.

The premiership ended a few weeks back and other top european leagues have only just ended / are ending.

Rafa has already signed a couple of brazilians and the hungarian lads, and we are expecting more.

Already people are questioning our new owners, why??? Maybe if we spend nothing come August we'll have questions to ask, but let's see.

I would also like to put forward my own thoughts regarding the Americans.

LFC had been looking for SUITABLE investors for about 30 months prior to the deal finally going through. Why was it taking so long?
Well...Mr Moores needed to protect his own interests and recoup alot of the money he has spent on the club....and yes he pumped cash into the club when it was needed. Sadly a number of the bigger transfers ended up being pink elephants and he and the club lost alot. He was fully entitled to find the best deal for himself....BUT
Mr Moores is also a LFC fan through and through, and although he may not show his enthusiasm or passion for the club by jumping up and down in the directors box, or posting threads and replies on forums such as this does not make him any less of a fan or any less passionate than any of us.

He loves LFc and was also looking for the best possible deal for the club and supporters. Sadly things took a lot of time under him and his management, but that is in the past. When looking at deals on the table from Sinawatra to Morgan, Kraft and L4 to DIC and our current owners, he and his advisers looked good and hard.

Mr Moores is not the sort of man who would sell the club out, and although certain elements may imply that the only reason he took the G & H deal was becasue it meant that he pocketed an extra £8m, i disagree.

G & H are the club's owners because they showed and proved their interest in establishing LFC as the leading club in the world once more, something that Mr Moores could no longer do having spent large amounts of his own cash - mostly on disaters in trying to elevate the club once more. He was convinced by their plans and will to succeed, and I am sure certain guarentees were put in place for the rebuilding of the club etc when terms were being discussed.

Moores would not have allowed any prospective buyers to acquire his shares if they were not fully committed to the club, and at the same time we need to remember that the American sports franchises are very different to ours and europe's. The expenses are significantly higher, and almost all the clubs have cash to burn as almost all of them are owned by some billlionaire or another! So to compare the success in one market and how it may impact upon another is being short sighted.

As far as Hicks and Gilett are concerned. They want to rebuild the club, want one of the greatest stadiums in the world, with a capacity of 68,000. They are not stupid, and know that if they do not invest in the squad interest may very well die and dwindle, and that fans may say away in protest, and there could be some empty seats at the New Anfield - something that nobody wants.

I believe we'll see other major improvements - merchandising, ticket office arrangements etc etc, and LFC will become the massive inernational brand it should be.

There are rumours that they are to scrutinise Benitez's transfers - What Bollocks - they are fully aware that in many cases the players he ended up with were second, third or fourth choice as the money just was not available. When you look at he majority of his first big choice signings...Reina, Agger, Alonso, now JM, and even Garcia, they have all been successes. The rubbish like Josemi, Kromkamp, Nunez, etc were never first choice and were fillers - gone as quickly as they came, and all bought for a nominal fee.

Where they may scrutinise transfers is sales....when last did LFC receive top dollar on selling a player? Hmmmm.... this sadly is a Board legacy. Even when Ged sold players they were always cut price. Unfortunately the board had no spine when negotiating sales ...Fowler and Owen, £11m each! We should have gotten at least £15m for Robbie and up to £18m for Owen. From what we are hearing, the Board is beginning to play hard, if indeed the figures for Momo and Bellamy are accurate.

So I say let it be, stop the negativity and don't believe something merely because it is posted on a forum or published in the tabloids.

I love reading posts and threads and the gossip pages, but about 5% of what is said transpires.

Let's evaluate the information properly, and when we have it from a reliable source, such as G & H or Rafa themsleves, or possibly Bacombe and the Echo - other than that take everything with a pinch of salt

I disagree with all of that, it's clear to me that Moores sold us down the river with a couple of muppets, Rafa now hates us, his wife, children and Spain as a consequence, Parry has signed a life long deal with the club and Graham Taylor will be our next manager as Gillett remembers the great job he did for England all those years ago. We're doomed, signing a one season wonder in Brazils players player of the season and 2 Hungarians no one has ever heard of, OK so most of the top clubs in Europe were tracking them but so what, we still haven't really signed anyone and Rafa's vision of buying top quality young players to bring through is flawed because we should be winning the quadruple next season.

the troubling thing is that since they arrived the yanks were making statements of intention. now in a very eerie way, things have gone very very quiet and i believe, without the rumours and all the bull**** that something is up.

                              I blame Parry's ties.
