I think it is. Hicks and Gilett are too clever to foot foul their start at Anfield. They have said they will back Rafa and of course that is exactly what will happen. Anything else would be ludicrous. The idea that two high profile businessmen would come into the club and promise funding and then just turn their back on the club in the first window is nothing short of stupid. Not earth shattering news that our main targets are in Spain but begs questions as to why Rafa would have come out a week and a half ago saying deals need to be done now when I can only assume nothing could be done with the top 4 teams until the season is over. Unless he expected something to be completed soon with someone not in the title race - Torres or Milito perhaps?
