Well he was the most dangerous player on the pitch in the first half in the second we haven't attacked enough to get him into the game, he is a flair player he is hardly expected to be defending at the back the whole half. So if we are not attacking of course he won't be involved, that is why your comment is stupid and I never said my opinon was expert, I just said your comment wasn't.

if we had been defending for the whole half then I would accept your point, but we didn't. I accept he is a flair player and he has, at times, scored very very important goals for us but there comes a time when you have a strong squad that you need more within than your team than a bit of flair. We have players who give far more now than we did when he burst onto the scene and for a team with our expectations he needs to do more than score the odd (admittedly spectacular) goal. I felt that tonight he thought the game was too easy for him. He was not alert with balls played into him and was not strong enough. In my humble opinion we needed strength when we attacked and we needed to keep the ball. He gave us neither.

And, once again, in my opinion he wasn't our most dangerous player in the first half either. He did fairly well with 2 efforts, should have done better with another but he needs to do more

I am not so sure that they are a decent side but I agree that Agger did do well and he has looked good whenever he has played this season. I thought Gonzales did well tonight too but we seemed to struggle to get Pennant into the game.

Anyone here what happened Momo, looked like a knee injury though hard to tell.

Anyway lookin forward to the CL proper - but boy do we(rafe) have a lot of work to do in training. Learning how to switch flanks and utilize these wingers would be a start.

Oh, and didn't Agger do well again - Hyypia II for sure

I do agree with everything you say there but I am waiting ofr us to play with wingers, plus Crouch and Bellamy up front. I hope that once that happens we will see a difference, I just feel there will be more movemnet and more interchange. Fingers crossed anyway.
