''The website urged Liverpool supporters to boycott UEFA sponsors Heineken, Sony, Mastercard, and Ford in the manner of the Sun newspaper boycott after Hillsborough.
The site said: “The supporters of Liverpool FC are now proposing to boycott these companies until William Gaillard is removed from his position and UEFA apologises for leaking a pejorative report at a sensitive time with the clear intent of further damaging the reputation of Liverpool FC and its supporters.”
like Morphorino said ...this is the part i feel fans are taking it a bit too far ...
..i do want the ****er fired though...

Sacking Gaillard is only going to solve part of the problem. Do you guys really think he acted without Platini's ok? Platini hates Liverpool, he's made that very very clear since 1985. His stupid smug comments at the CL final in istanbul, the smug smile on his face this year when we lost.
Platini is such a spineless git that he would throw Gaillard to the wolves but the power hungry maniac ain't going to make it easier for Liverpool. let's put it this way, if he had been in power in 2005, we would never have been allowed to enter the CL the next year. If we do well in CL from now on, it will be in spite of UEFA...Last edited by shelly; 07-06-07, 08:32 PM.

Get the **** out. You can't go about making these comments without any evidence to show for it.
Out ta **** Gaillard."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

i know what your saying alright. IT does seem a little OTT to be boycotting all of the UEFA sponsors just because of one clowns words.Originally posted by mishal View Post''The website urged Liverpool supporters to boycott UEFA sponsors Heineken, Sony, Mastercard, and Ford in the manner of the Sun newspaper boycott after Hillsborough.

Sure we can wait and see what hapens anyway, surely UEFA will wake up to what really happened, to be honest, I think they now realize after a bit of reflection that the situation was not handled properly by the Grrek Police, by the Stadium managers, and by UEFA themselves.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I agree, even with the "retraction" our fans and the fans of all the English clubs will be viewed with some suspicion on their travels next season. Galliards comments have set back our reputations in Europe by years.Originally posted by fredo View PostWhat ? The **** should kop it as far as I am concerned. i think the point is to get the sponsors to pressure UEFA to get him out.Originally posted by bazza76 View Posti know what your saying alright. IT does seem a little OTT to be boycotting all of the UEFA sponsors just because of one clowns words.

...or alternatively, as UEFA were responsible for the death of 35 Italian fans and we got the blame, and now they are trying to make out that taking a flag (that would have been surplus to requirements after the final in any case), is comparable to stoning a ref or stabbing someone to death, we haven't taken it far enough.

Sack the prick. I would love it if he gets the sack. **** off Gaylord you Gay Lord. ha ha haI think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty.
