I said depending on how he does in the reserves, he could be brought in first team sooner or later. If he does very well, then he might find himself a place on the bench and if he struggles due to new country, weather etc then he will be stuck in reserves.

I think hes a bit more advance than Agger was. He's about to play in their version of the Champions League Final and he has already been voted the Player Of The Year over there. I think it will be a case of adapting to the pace and physical nature of the Premiership, which could take some time. I think he will be eased in, but a little bit quicker than Agger was in his first season. I expect him to have made around 20 1st team appearances by the end of next season.

given the amount of CM we have i cant see him getting that many games.

he might get that many sub appearances, but i doubt he's displace gerrard masch xabi or momo in important games, so that just really leaves Carling cup games really.

Problem is, with 4 CMs already, one of them most probably wont even make it to the bench so I dont see how there would be place for Lucas on the bench.

True, we are well stocked in CM arent we, bt if Zenden managed that many games last season I would back Lucas too next season. Suppose it depends on if Sissoko gets back into top form or not.
