Almost certainly but if he were ever to come on here I think typography would be the least of his concerns

The scando countries don't have that anymore, even though they did in the old days 1800s and before.

Iceland still do though I think.


Another system is used in some Javanese cultures. There you are named after your children and grandchildren.(God knows what you are called before you have children.. I can't recall the finer details.) So, if your name was Chris, you father would be DaddyChris, GrandpaChris etc.
