OK just to outline, I have been a member of this forum for a few years, as you can see i don't post often as most of what i think has been said already. Some good some bad but no point in repeating anything.

OK now for the good bit, I have seen lately that we are all getting a bit pissed at the lack of signings, Losing the final in Athens, bad press etc...

So after days of reading a lot of negative postings and a few positive i decided to hunt down Tom Hicks email or a way to contact him and let him know what we as fans feel and asked him what the situation is with singings and the future of our club. I gave him links to this forum and pointed out that both he and G Gillet were starting to lose a little favor with fans.

Below is part of his response.

We have had numerous constructive conversations with Rafa. As you now see, we successfully negotiated extensions for our key players first, as our top priority. We signed two minor new, young players and are now in negotiations with agents for several top players. These negotiations take time and are not without risk, however, we are confident we will be able to be successful.

The plans for the new stadium are close to being finalized and will be presented to the City Council in the next 30 days. I believe our fans will be really excited when they become public.

We are also busy recruiting new management that can increase our commercial revenues, which will enable us to be more competitive.

In short, please be a little patient…….and don’t believe everything you read in the newspaper!!
I now have Tom Hicks personal email address at Hicks Holdings and can tell you all that this is 100% real
OK no names have been mentioned but i now believe that T Hicks is working for the good of the club and feel a little better about what the coming weeks hold in the transfer market.

I do not mind if certain people come and post and berate this as false information. I can only reaffirm that this was from Tom Hicks himself direct to me. i have also checked the domain name in the email address as i thought someone was having me on. On my life or more to the point on the life of my son this is not a wind up

and yeah gilette stricks me as the one that dodgy. wouldnt trust him around the kids by the look of him
