Rafa was the 5th best manager last season

I am not sure whether this has been posted already (delete if so)

According to the LMA (League Managers Association), Rafa came 5th, he was beaten by Fergie, Maureen, Wenker and Nigel Adkins!!

So, Maureen was better, as was Arsene?

And on par with Steve BRuce?

The league cup gets a surprisingly high weighting. Doesn't appear to include CL.

Adkins deserves the credit to be honest though.

Probably due to the goal scored and winning margins points system

It tells you all you need to know about those stats that Colin Calderwood, who massively underachieved at Nottingham Forest by failing to win promotion with the best squad in League 1 and having no cup run of note, comes ahead of Billy Davies who took a Derby squad that most people tipped as relegation favourites and turned them into a premiership side.

                Total bollocks.

Steve Coppell deserves to be up there as well.

I remember Adkins as player manager of Bangor. He had a good record there (won the Welsh league 2 or 3 times in a row). He was a crap keeper though.

You can prove anything with statistics! 78% of people know that!

Forest did have a flying start to the season, they beat teams comfortably early on but then the wheels fell off, that is probably why Calderwood was so high up.

There are three types of lies - lies, damn lies, and statistics

I had a maths teacher who showed us the proof that 1 = 2, that was bollocks as well.

Beat Rafa three times this season, twice at Anfield.
